Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim Prophethood of Muhammed(PBUH) It was here, one night during the month of Holy Ramadhan at the age of 40, that the Almighty called Muhammed(PBUH) to his service. This night known as Laylatul- Qadr, 'The night of power', The spirit of truth was to descend with God's decree and light of humanity: The Quran.  The new chapter for the world was about to unfold.  The Cave- Part 1 The white Moon was shining brightly when suddenly he perceived a presence. Out of the stillness of the night, a voice was heard. 'Read', Muhammed(PBUH) was shaken 'I can't Read', he replied. The Earth seemed to tremble as the voice repeated the command pressing him on ' Read' ' I can't Read'. He felt himself frozen with fear, unable to move. 'Read' The awesome voice commanded again. ' What shall I Read', Then suddenly he was released : at that moment, all time and space were still. Peace- a...

Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim The Blackstone Muhammed(PBUH)'s company and wise counsel were greatly sought after. It is said that once when the sacred Kabah was being rebuilt after a serious flood had damaged its walls, a disagreement arouse among-st the 4 main tribe of the Quraysh as to which tribe should have the honor of replacing the sacred Blackstone. A skirmish was about to begin, when one of the elders suggested a solution: "Make the first to enter the gate your judge", he said they all looked, and to their great joy,  Muhammed(PBUH) entered. ' It is Al Ameen the Trustworthy', They cried. Muhammed(PBUH) saw what was happening and he asked for a piece of cloth to be brought. He laid the blackstone upon the cloth and told the members of each of the 4 tribes to hold the corners of the cloth and raise the stone as he, himself, eased it into its position. So he ended the quarrel and with it the treat of  war.  The Arabs of his time had ...

Muhammed (PBUH) - The Trustworthy

Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim The Trustworthy As a young man, Muhammed (PBUH) became known to everybody as Al Ameen, 'The Trustworthy' because of his honesty and noble character. His uncle loved him dearly and would take him on trading journey to Syria. This gave the opportunity to learn how to earn his living as a trader. He managed business well although he was relatively poor, Muhammed (PBUH) 's truthfulness and generous nature made him trusted and loved by everyone who knew him. There lived in Makkah one of the most honorable of ladies her name was Khadeejah. Muhammed(PBUH) had worked for her and at the age of 25 he received from her an indirect proposal of marriage. Although she was his senior and twice widowed, Muhammed(PBUH) accepted her offer.  They were married and lived a happy life. She bore him 2 sons and 4 daughters. Muhammed (PBUH) - Polytheists and Idols

Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim Polytheists and Idols Polytheism, the cult of worshiping idols, was practiced by almost everyone. By everlasting religion and legacy of Abraham 'The worship of one true God alone had been buried and forgotten with time'. Over the years, some 360 idols and statues of false Gods had been installed in and around the Holy Kabah, worshiped as lords and intercessors. Even the followers of Moses and Jesus had diverged from the universality and teachings of the pure monotheistic faith of Abraham and had divided themselves into many separate sects and tribes. But Muhammed (PBUH), was an exceptional figure. He did not take part in any of this. It became his habit in later years to retreat to an isolated cave in the nearby mountain called Hira, not far from Makkah, to bare his heart and pray in search of Truth. With no sound but the stirring wind, he would contemplate, in his solitude, the signs of the universe.  Inshallah in next...

The Angels obeyed but Iblis, who was one of the Jinn Refused to do so. Allah(SWT) asked, 'What prevented you from prostrating before that I have created?'. Iblis replied, I am better than him. You have created me from fire but him from clay.  His pride led him to disobey Allah(SWT). Allah(SWT) Asked him to get out of here you are an outcast. My curse is on you till the day of judgement. Then Iblis vowed to misguide Adam and his children. Allah(SWT) then asked Adam to live in Al Jannah. He had everything to enjoy but he was alone. So Allah created Hawwa (Eve). Angels Of Allah(SWT)

Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim Angels ' The Mala ikah' Angels are a special creation of Allah(SWT). They have been created from light(Nur) to perform specific duties. Angels have been given the qualities and powers necessary to carry out their duties, but they do not have free will. They always obey Allah(SWT) and can never disobey Him. Man, on the other hand, has been given free will to choose between right and wrong. This is why man will have to account for his actions on the Day of Judgement.  Angels are the sinless servants of Allah's will. They help men in the use of free will. Man decides what to do and the Angels help him carry out the decision. The duty of Angels is to glorify and praise Allah. They are incapable of disobeying Allah's order. They never get tired. They do not need sleep and they do not require worldly things that a human being would need.  Angels are a type of creatures who cannot be usually seen by man unless they appear i...

The Books of Allah(SWT)

Image
Bismillah Hirrahman Nirrahim The Books of Allah(SWT)  Allah's blessings are countless. He provides us with all that we need. We need guidance to carry out our duties. We are unable to guide ourselves because we have many weaknesses within us and very limited knowledge. Allah has the only power to give us guidance which is suitable for all times. Allah(SWT) has sent Prophets to show us the right path in life and he has also sent books of guidance through some Prophets. The messages with which Prophets are communicated is another article of faith. These messages are fundamentally the same in principle and meant for spreading humanity both by the Prophets and the followers.  Allah(SWT) the greatest favour to mankind is his guidance contained in the revealed books. Muslims believes in all the revealed books which are mentioned in the Al Quran. They are:  Al Tawrah (Torah) : Revealed to Prophet Musa (Moses) (PBUH) Al Zabur (Psalms) : Rev...
